tonight we've been down the local pub researching our ales, touting out talent for the "ale of the week" unfortunately nothing really tickled our fancy besides eaves dropping on other peoples conversations. luckily i'd been researching during the week and found this little gem. the badger never fails to tickle the fancy, this liquid treat has an after taste of a ginger cake i make.buy it, drink it, recycle the bottle.

last night norfolk had the pleasure of a 5.2 (on a scale of 1 to richter) earthquake. these strange tremors are either due to global warming or certifies that norwich is in fact the center of the universe.
6 o'clock drinking time in LA
umberto (our dirty french secret) has been hanging out in LA with negrete for the past few weeks and shooting some footage for POO TV. the tapes are in transit and should be with us next week so expect some nice new retinal stimulation soon. there's loads in the pipeline for POO TV at the moment so keep checking back for updates.
monday lounging
today i had planned to do loads of work but then my flashes wouldn't work this morning so i used it as an excuse to just lounge around like this hound. sometimes the omens are just against you so you have to just sit back and take it like a man.

cherry poppin
this week while perusing the ale aisle we stumbled across some foreign looking fruity numbers, the first was a raspberry beer from belgium and the second a cherry one. i've already got a bit of weakness for cherry beer from summer sessions at the belgian monk. so we purchased a modest amount and took them back to the bat cave for sampling; the raspberry one was a total let down and just tasted like a mixture of cough syrup and them little panda pops you used to get at discotechs as a kid. the cherry one however totally lived up to expectations and even had a cork under the normal bottle top to make it that little bit more special and in the process render it useless for bus stop drinkers.

bespoke have both zippers in all sizes now and we have a few left on our online store but they are going fast.
flatpack & crack
this week has been riddled with flatpack furniture problems. there are loads of ways to work through these problems systematically but i found a little bit of traditional construction crack works best.

today has been frosty and misty and it seems like everybody is getting sick again! will this torment ever end?

lee came down to visit this weekend, today we hung out at the good weather fair and drunk coffee. we then headed home and dyed his skates followed by a half cut hair cut and a fully cut blog post.

this is the neighbour's cat felix, we call him "the smee". he always comes over and cries till we give him water, either he has diabetes or the water on our side of the street just tastes better. this was taken this morning when i was trying to brush my teeth.

this morning the sun came out briefly so i decided to drink a coffee milkshake then wax my girlfriends legs, it was actually quite fun. i might even look for a part-time beautician job.

the london story
london is a very weird and wonderful place. our morning started off with a rare sighting of a real life garden gnome, he must have got the morning off to nip down to the shop and buy his weekly supplies. we then spotted a really posh bum who had his own couch on the street. we then went and looked around some trade shows, where i got a free banana. at the end of it all we got stuck in an egyptian riot for an hour, something to do with football, they did give us sweets though but we didn't get into their car.

we went to look around some trade shows in laandon with sean and dave from bespoke today. it's late and i'm too tired to do a proper post, so check back tomorrow to find out the link between this girls coat and egypt.

there is this advert on tv for some little magic napkin that you put in with your washing and none of the colours run. the ad consists of some pregnant lady doing her laundry, using the magic napkin looking all smug and happy, pretty standard "give us your money, we have a great product" ad, but then near the end there is a shot of some little boy touching up the mothers breast, the cheeky little pervert! 
st. bernardus abt 12
this weeks ale of choice is a belgium import from abbey ale. st. bernardus abt 12 is a really foamy dark ale and has loads of sediment so you'll need to let it sit for a while. it's nice and creamy with a bit of a woody taste, goes down easy but packs a bit of a punch at 10%. serving suggestion = cd 1 of the frank black francis demo.

today was spent doing work for some new pages on the website while listening to animal collective. then had a little food shop and made some super tasty mexican treats. all in all a good day. new stuff should be up on the website next week try hold your breath till then. 
eyeholes in a paper bag
we've decided to do a competition for the best bag of 2008. so all you lazy bums that have your dirt box bag laying around your house somewhere; find it up, get creative with it and send us a picture of you wearing it for our bag heads page. we'll announce the winner at the end of the year and he or she will receive a big box of dirt box loot.
ice dancing
last night we all went out to the birdcage to celebrate gemma's birthday, afterwards we amused ourselves endlessly twisting on the ice outside the church then we got a best pizza and kebab and went home. in case you were wondering, yes we did get garlic sauce and yes they are the best! 
bloody tesco
today i had a near death experience while in tesco, some ditsy lady tried to injure me with a big bottle of bacardi breezer. luckily i was saved by a member of the hygiene team and managed to escape unharmed.
