went and saw son on dave with james, sam had bought the ticket then minced off to the states leaving it with me. im still in two minds about the gig it was good but lacked something. think we were more entertained by the old fat couple in front of us also i got really excited when i spotted the old guy who lives down the street who in summer puts on his really short shorts and mows the lawn. another thing all those buttons and dials the sound guys have whats that all about? they only seem to ever touch two of them.

pass the hoagie

first off thanks mr two toes for posting embarrassing pictures of me to fill the void over the past week, i really appreciate it and shall fully express my gratitude when i get back to my box of old photos of you in good old blighty. we went to brooklyn banks on tuesday and then we've been in philadelphia the past few days and took a trip to new jersey as well. back in the big bramley now and we've had a day off to shop and look around, it's been really hot here and we were out filming for 13 hours straight on the last day in philly so everyones feeling pretty haggard. philly is the most amazing place and it's full of bad asses, our host rickayyy was the nicest guy and we hooked up with the kelsos, majette, killgore, alf and anthony sereni who all made us feel really welcome in the home of the "philly out". i'm now off to try find some real ale in the city that only serves by the bottle...

no updates from sam and lee yet, think the big apple has got the best of them. i did however stumble across these amazing mini cooper print ads. usually car ads are a bit of a cock ride, waste of time and money, these though make me want to go out and buy a car. a little car. may be even a mini.

while sam and lee have the pleasure of mincing about new york im stuck here doing all the work, some people always pull the short straw.anyway i always see this at the embroiders and it makes me cringe thinking that it could be my hand in those cogs.

power snaps & special buses

we've arrived in the big bramley apple, feeling a bit haggard after the flight but seeing lee snap his neck with some creative sleeping solutions made the journey a lot more fun. i also saw a real life special bus on the way into the city which was a treat. we got to the apartment at about 2pm then shopped for a bit and ate some amazing food from the whole foods store down the street. we've been awake for 22 hours now so it's time for some much needed sleep ready to get our shred on tomorrow.

an american tale

lee and sam set off for america tomorrow, they'll be traveling around the east coast for the next couple of weeks to film for some video projects they're working on at the moment. sam's taken his laptop so keep checking back for updates from the guys themselves.

found some loot

we've spent the last few days clearing out the storeroom to make space for the new stuff. whilst rummaging through boxes we found a few hidden treasures. we've put everything we found back on the dirt box shop so head over there and take a look because it might be your favorite garment that you just haven't been able to find in your size. the boxes were mostly track tops and a few different color beanies but we also found some small fish & chips tee's which have been out of stock for a while so snap them up while they last.

there's been a lot of killing going on lately. here's the newest addition to the mound of corpses, a baby rabbit compliments of kubrick.

OCD times

some people just eat sweets, other people organise them and hold onto them till they get all sweaty and then the colour gets all over their hand, then the couch, then everbody else in the room including the cat. viva la OCD.

not long to wait...

before you can get your hands on some new dirt box attire for your wardrobe. we went to bespoke today, sorted out some stock and revealed some samples for sean and dave. you'll be able to get three new garments exclusively from bespoke next week and then two weeks after that they will be available from the dirt box shop.

went to see the hives tonight and it was a pretty good show. the support were a bunch of gimps though.

we've been lurking at the fine city friends fair all day today. we found some really good ginger ale and then made friends with this squirrel.

we went to see son of rambow today. it's definitely one of the best films i've seen this year, the little details are amazing. i didn't think we were going to get to see the end because anthony was taking loads of photos but he somehow managed to stay undetected and supplied me with the picture below featuring my favorite character in the film "didier revol"

the aaron post

i've been having serious phone issues lately, so today i decided to go in the phone shop and see how long i had to wait before they replace it. turned out my contract was due for an upgrade so we sat down ready to get shafted with another shit super phone that does everything but work. luckily i got a real nice guy called aaron who was very helpful when i explained i just want a camera that you can turn the noise off when it takes a photo (no not for upskirts you filthy horn dogs) and an alarm that still works when you turn the phone off. i think aaron took a shine to anthony because when i got the phone home it was full of photos he had taken of him while he was showing me how it works.

it's been a hazy day after our eventful weekend in london town. i had a look through my photos from the kingdom party but there's only one of anthony getting his guns and knives confiscated and then everything after that was a blur.

bloods on tour

we took a little trip down to london this weekend for the launch party of the new kingdom magazine. had an interesting drive down due to sam's detour routes and me nearly pissing my pants, but it was all worth while because the party was a goodun, when we eventually found the place. highlights had to be the wonder hound, catching up with the industries finest and getting fresh bagels from brick lane.
