in norwich you have to keep an eye out for people who leave their cattle in their cars while they go shopping. i had to call the rspca to come and break the window for this little calf ,thankfully i saw him when i did before the little guy became another cargrilled burger.

magic city showdown

we are sponsoring the magic city showdown in alabama this year. it's on the 4th & 5th of july so if you're in america and looking for a way to celebrate you're independence what could be better than a weekend of skating and partying with mr dunkle and the rest of the radius media mob. should be a hefty cash prize to if you fancy your chances.

we've just updated the propaganda page with some product placement from adam kola's interview in the new photo issue of be-mag. there are still a few fish & chips tee's left in medium and large on the dirt box shop.

wine art

was lurking in the textiles section of the private view the other day and i was quite disappointed with this years efforts. me and the giver of wine teamed up and made a collaboration piece on a table cloth in an attempt to inspire next years cloth cutters.

viewing of privates

went to the private view at norwich's finest of arts school last night which is always a bit of a laugh. some work was pure pants that is why they give you free booze, however there are always a few gems that leave you bedazzled, my favorite this year has to be illustrator and animator dave prosser, definitely one to keep an eye out for. its always good to see graduates showing there work to their parents and trying to explain why they made a tent or dissected loads of barbies. also saw a few hounds two mini one and a big boy.

get your nips out

went and had a good old fashioned rollershoe at wymondham's mini park today. the sun was shinnig, the banter flying and there was even some graffiti for sam to practice his reading.

brick lane bag heads

our friend daisy has just had an exhibition on brick lane which featured loads of dirt box bags. the first bag head competition winner will be announced next month so make sure you get your entries in soon if you want to get your hands on some free loot. there's a handsome young chap rocking the new jimi deep v that's just been added.

home sweet home

things have been crazy busy this year and i don't think we've properly spent time home for about three months now. so last week when we got back from NASS i was pretty exited about being able to spend some time at home with the nor-folk again. i started out on thursday by watching little rumuns throw rocks at each other and the sun set at the beach. then on friday booney came down for the weekend which is always a treat as i hardly ever get to see him nowadays, that night we got the fire pit out and built the most epic fire ever. kubrick decided he wasn't like every other animal in the world and had no fear of the fire at all. we ended up talking all night and watched the sunrise. most of saturday was spent sleeping but when we eventually awoke we went for a walk in the woods and a little skate to sweat out the nights poison followed by a refill of poison and a really good thai meal at a restaurant james took us to. today we hung out in the city for a bit and got coffee then booney found his long lost brother riding an elephant bus. we met loz and had a chill skate at some favorite local spots in the sun, then we got some food and it was time for booney to make his escape from the fine city so we said our goodbyes.

went out tonight for a friend leaving do, she got a book of big hair styles and guess who we found while flicking through, mister sam currie. looks like sams been earning extra cash doing some modeling.

late night roasting

the boochu is in norwich visiting for the weekend which called for a fire pit session with much roasting, of marshmallows obviously.

lee called to let us know he's nearly finished filming for a new dvd called "cult leaders" produced by harry reavley. if you're into lee's skating definitely grab a copy because he has a full section and is really pleased with how the whole video is looking. check the trailer...

bailey or chips

the dirt box plague is spreading worldwide, after only a few days in the UK erik is totally hooked on fish & chips. if you need to feed your addiction there are still a few left in the dirt box shop.

more or nass

nass was pretty relentless, infact if i even sniff another energy drink my nose might fall off. the driving there and back was long, lee got his nuts out in the car which was a bit uncomfortable, we did see the stonehenge which was pretty cool. like sam i was either too busy chatting to people who we havnt seen in a while or staring at the funfair rides so my photos aren't to good either. staying in a b&b was the best idea ever, having a power shower and breakfast cooked for us every morning was priceless. so was having special colour wristbands that let us access all areas and jump all queues. one more thing if you have a pair of camo short burn them, they are the work of satan.

NASS mega post

we're back from NASS and as promised here is the monday mega post to let you know what we've been up to. we didn't do too good on the photo front i'm afraid, there were loads of good friends there we haven't seen for ages so our time was consumed with good conversation and many a brewski. there was a massive turn out this year and they had really hooked it up for the riders to, we had a massive athlete lounge complete with x-box's, foosball, tiger skin rugs, massive couches and bean bags everywhere, free fruit, free beer, free nandos, a DJ and a hot tub. the competition was fun, the park was pretty tricky but everyone managed to squeeze some nice tricks out of it. lee decided he couldn't be arsed to compete and when they called his name he scampered off and we didn't see him for three hours. i enjoyed watching the bmx guys shred the course. anthony saw his first hog roast and continued to be a vegetarian, pissing on anyone that doesn't share his views. we hung out at the kingdom booth and mooched around the trade stands a bit, this is where lee discovered his natural talent for snakeboarding. he couldn't quite master the random roller skate style skateboards though. the nights where wild, we kept ending up in some random drum and base barn. i joined oli and will on a mission to spread cheer in the public camping area which looked a little like a scene from terminator, we soon fled after will walked into the toilet and nearly drowned in shit. lee spent half an hour trying to convince a bar lady to accept a completely ripped in half fiver and eventually succeeded by taping it together with stickers he found on the floor. we managed to leave just in time because it pissed it down pretty much as soon as we got in the car. the journey home was super slow with loads of traffic on the motorways. we hit up little chef for some traditional bad road food and when we eventually got back we hung out with lee's dogs for a bit and then parted ways for some much needed rest.

off to NASS

we're packing up all our stuff and heading down to NASS today. it's in the middle of nowhere so probably no internet connection until we all get back, looks like it's going to be another mega post monday...

weekend mega post

so here's the photos from my birthday celebrations at the beach. it was the worst night ever to go to the beach but a few weeks back i said i wanted to do it and james decided to make it his mission to motivate everyone even when it was freezing cold and had rained all day. the bro's got me a bad ass fire pit which took us forever to light because of the crazy wind, james got his boy scout out and made a wind block out of the blanket we were sitting on and we had the fire blazing in no time after that. then we ran out of wood so had to go foraging for drift wood along the beach. loz got all bear grylls on us and dug a hole for the bbq to go in so the wind didn't blow it out, worked a treat minus the occasional sand burger. anthony was all smug because he couldn't get food poisoning from his corn dogs so he had eaten about 10 before we even got 1 meat treat cooked. the scrumpy was definitely flowing because he somehow managed to make me think that getting the mark of zorro branded on my arse was a good idea...it didn't work out.

this weekend has been action packed. we've got loads of photos so there will be a mega post tomorrow, right now it's too late and i'm too tired. i just found out the kills are playing paris the day after we fly out so here's a bit of VV to watch in celebration of the good news.

the break up

today instead of working i watched this art school couple breaking up, it was pretty intense.there were no tears but two very emotional embraces. eventually they went their separate ways and i had to do some work, it was pretty sad.

had a visit from an old friend today. dawn has been in asia for the last 4 years and came back with some killer recipes. here's a shot of her rolling some fresh panipuri for our savage curry dish.

saw my little brother watching this the other day, he seemed pretty annoyed because i think he thought it was going to be porn. me and anthony are currently working on our version of phil collins "in the air tonight". we need to get some wax strips though because the markers keep getting lost in anthonys leg hair.
