boom ditty ditty

got a few bonus shots from loz's leaving do last night. he wanted to get some hip hop in his lug holes so we went to norwich's finest and only black music venue. things got pretty heated with 10p shots and soldier boy, i payed extra at the door to have my own personal dancing henchman to lessen the chances of any beef. today i've been super lazy and just ate a breakfast face then laid around with kubrick and watched old movies all night.

loz leaving

another one bites the dust. this time in the form of loz leaving for london, unfortunately he is fleeing the fine city to furthering his studies in art mastery. we decided to take him to stalham for a farewell bbq and mini ramp session with the added bonus of mingling with some locals. we had a great session which was followed by more farewell drinks in norwich.we will miss you loz, take care in the big city.

lonely fish

if your pet fish is looking a bit lonely why not buy it some ass. for only £3.99 you could really cheer up your gold fish, or if it's tropical fish that you have this ass can blow bubbles out of its hole , what a treat.

stink peas

it's been a full day in front of the computer today minus a trip to the chinese supermarket where anthony bought the worst thing i've put in my mouth in a long time, it was basically dried peas covered in some weird fish tasting powder. after that we had to get a new fridge for the penthouse because it's hard to concentrate on our work with warm beers. we got loads of new stuff designed today which you'll be seeing in the next couple months; including the start of our new gallery page and another new (at this stage) top secret section of our website. we've done some new stickers to, so you can all put them in funny places and send us photos. also we've got a new addition to the bag tag for the next line of jimi's which i think are the best yet especially with the added treat...exciting times.

ginger tom

we havn't had an ale of the week for a while so i ran down to the local shops and picked out something new. i present to you 'ginger tom' which is pretty much an 'old tom' mixed with a ginger ale, nice and refreshing with a bit of added spice for your life.

bank holiday sweatfest

i've been enjoying the bank holiday sun today. we went out to this amazing mini ramp in the middle of a field and got our shred on all afternoon. on the way home feeling the sweatiest and most dehydrated i have in a while i found a delicious slice of watermelon to get the old laughing gear around. pretty much a perfect day.

moving on up

moving can be a real chore however with national's 'vantastic rates' the day started off on a good foot. it then got better with james (aka james julian) offering his moving services and sam managing to show up before twelve. moving all of mine and gemma's hoarded stuff went pretty swiftly, we even managed to invent the bed car for the sleeper on the move. moving into a penthouse is great except for having to carry all your stuff up the stairs, my desk was hard work. after all was moved we celebrated with a curry and some fruity beers, great day all round. speacial thanks to alexia for her great van driving skills, next time we'll buy a daily sport .

it's the time of the month for dirt box at the moment, red river fever in the form of business meetings. this hornet in the window next to us kept me nice and distracted during yesterdays big cheese decisions.

penthouses & jelly shoes

after todays business starbucks we went shoe shopping for sam, we found him some lovely black lady shoes that bring out the tinkerbell in him. i then took sam to see my new penthouse, got the keys for the place yesterday, will be moving in on saturday so expect a moving post, thats if we're still alive after carrying all of mine and gemma's hoarded stuff up 4 flights of stairs.

party games and missing trains

i didn't do to good on the photo front this weekend so i'll try paint a few extras with words. i went down to london on friday to hang out with all my french friends who had assured me there was going to be an epic party on the saturday night. we didn't really do a lot on the friday just hung out on brick lane for a bit, got some beigels and sunk a few brewskis. the weather was good when we woke up saturday so we headed out for a skate with some of the polish and south african guys that are living in london at the moment. we hit quite a few spots and it was really good to skate with some new people. we headed back and got scrubbed up then got the party started with 6 crates of beer and a few bottles of whiskey from the local off licence. by the time we got back the house was already packed with people and enough intoxicants to kill a whale. the rest of the night is a really good blur, definitely one of the best house parties i've been to in a while. on sunday we headed to harlow for a big jam session that was going on at the park there. it's the first time i've been there and it had a really nice bowl that everyone was shredding all day, i wasn't feeling to sharp so i didn't get to skate it which sucked. my good friends tim and dan were there and i haven't seen them for ages so it was good to catch up with them. after that i watched everyone eat food poisoning and then we headed back to london. i said my goodbyes and went to liverpool street where i successfully managed to miss my train. that makes a grand total of 6 trains and 1 eurostar i've missed in the last month, luckily this time i was on my own so i didn't have to suffer the joy of the usual abuse i get from anthony.

heavy ladies

sam's gone off to party and skate in london, i've opted to spend the weekend in the fine city, got some work to do for an upcoming exhibition. today i discovered how entertaining it is to watch big heavy ladies lift big heavy things, the olympics might not be that bad after all.

fish, chips and wet poodles

we actually did some work today instead of the usual mincing about which we seem to be doing loads of lately. to reward ourselves we went down to the old man pub and enjoyed a pint where sam pretended to be a real man and watch the football on t.v. we then got some fish and chips and headed back to my place when the skies opened up and about a weeks worth of rain came pouring down on us, you can't beat the english summer.

coiny 2012

we met up with our old friend steb today who we haven't seen for ages. it didn't take long before he was introduced to the competitive world of coiny and not being one for losing he was buying a pack of crisps with twenty paper and asking for copper change in no time. my stash was looking pretty bad, i was temped to borrow some antique coins from the case on the wall but my morals had me by the balls. last we heard coiny is already sweeping vegas and it looks like it might make the 2012 olympics to.

a dark night

me, alexia and james decided to go see "the dark knight" tonight. it's worth going to see even if you don't like batman movies because heath ledger is a total bad ass as the joker in this one. two and a half hours well spent, unfortunately the only picture i got is of this massive weiner.

Sunday, 10 August 2008

luke, calvin, jack and jesus

today the rain was on our heels everywhere we went to try and skate. we got soaked in wymondham during a heated coiny game which had to be finished off in the local spar. james tried to cheat by getting the guy behind the till to search for the oldest coin in the cash register which got him disqualified, leaving sam and loz to battle it out. sam won and celebrated with a 4 pack of scrumpys, loz just ate chocolate dipped in chocolate, covered in chocolate followed by more chocolate. we later went to attleborough where we met up with old school legend dave booth and got hassled by the local bmx gang.

french pest

whilst out enjoying some beverages last night we were approached by a french girl wielding a massive box of chocolates. at first she just seemed super friendly and we had a chat and a few chocolates, then she started talking about all her "sex friends" and dropped the killer line "which one of you is the easiest". luckily we were prepared and diffused the situation with a marshmallow penis then made a run for the door. so next time someone offers you a chocolate in a bar remember nothing is free and keep one hand on your marshmallow penis.

cash is back

jonny cash is alive and lives in norwich, we saw him last night playing a gig in the nelson pub in norwich. strange thing was after the gig he spoke in a thick irish accent, either we drank too much or someone was lying to us.

all day session

we started today off with a little skatepark session, we were joined by some super friendly hounds who kept us entertained. then after a couple of ginger beers we had a go on the swings, sam got a bit over excited i think he might take up swinging full time. we then headed into the city to meet up with some local rollershoers, which followed a lovely evening of politely conversing with security gaurds, some skating and finally a few ciders outside the forum, it is official norwich is a fine city.

joe's last day

we decided to brave the weather and head to the beach. by the time we got there we were all starving so we got fish & chips and joe got some crab which looked so good i wish i got it to. after a bit of bonding with the local fishermen we headed down to the beach. when we got there you literally couldn't see the water, it was like a desert. against our better judgment we started heading towards the horizon in search of the water. we got about half way and it started thundering and pissed it down, after seeing a few lightning bolts i pointed out we were the tallest thing for about a mile radius. loz didn't like that much, perhaps because he's the tallest so maybe he thought he'd get hit first. it took us about an hour and a half but we eventually got to the water without being hit by lightning. we paddled knee deep in the drink for a bit and then started the mission back across the desert. on the way back we found a sand fox which made my day. we then went into some pine woods and regressed to our childhood with about two hours of throwing pine cones at pigeons and climbing trees. joe made the mistake of climbing the hardest tree we found in a t-shirt and ruined his arms on the bark. we were all feeling haggard and real hungry again so we headed back to the city for a late night nandos as a farewell feast.

new lee mainland edit

the beat master has been putting in work, not only has he filmed a full section for harry reavley's forthcoming video release "cult leaders" but he's got enough left overs for a full online section too. keep your eyes peeled and you'll get a sneak peak of the next "jimi" to.

day trip

spent the day in london today, went down to get my art prescription filled. went to a zine fair called 'published and be damned' which was pretty hot and hectic, a lot of people trying really hard to be wacky. there was some german artist wearing a leotard, i went over to look at his book and he told me that he would write a love poem for me if i bought his book, i sadly declined his offer and moved on. we later got taken to the vegan bustaurant, im not that keen on vegan food but it was pretty cool sitting on a converted bus. also managed to see the cy twombly show which was brilliant.

hanging over

everyone was feeling a bit haggard today so we just slept and mooched in the city. we popped in to see sean and dave at bespoke and sean dressed up as noel gallagher for us. we got some coffee, anthony smashed his phone so you might not be seeing any booths from him for a while then we invented a new game called "oldest coin wins"; you all search for the oldest coin you can find then you lay it face down in the middle of the table and whoever has the oldest coin gets to keep all the coins. gemma cleaned up with a 1971 two pence piece. later that night we went to an indian restaurant and loz proved he has the gut girth of a whale by man handling a starter then a massive pancake thing full of meat.

sex pest circuit

loz's brother joe arrived in norwich today, i haven't seen him for about two years so it was the perfect excuse for some of the old liver abuse. i met them at sir simon davenports show which was also the release party for loz and dav's first publication "grand percussion". after a bit of waterfall and smoke machine fun we headed to a few pubs and then it was time for one of dav's infamous dj sets at a local club. the night got pretty messy and some wild shapes were being thrown from all angles. it ended with someone taking an over enthusiastic interest in my t-shirt and me narrowly avoiding a rape.
