foals sweat fest

lee came down today and we went to see the foals. it was totally rammed with the poke away from prison type and every time the little fuckers jumped we got domed in the chin. it was an amazing show though and we sweated beer out faster than we could drink it. we headed into the city and enjoyed a few more brewskis at an all night drinking den. then a traditional stumble down prince of wales to end the night with some frites.

it's the final car boot

what with summer coming to a sad end and the sun setting earlier and earlier everyday, its also nearly the end of car boot season so today we headed down to the local das boot in search of some bargain treats and some good ol' people watching.

spicy noodles

our good friends helen and sam came down to visit today, we went to get food at wagamamas and then topped up on our black history over coffee at the forum where we bumped into alexia. there was a guy rocking one of our hoodies on the table next to us and he kindly let me pap him for a hand full off stickers.

busy booze hounds

this week has been hectic, we've been sorting through mass amounts of new products and just signed off the samples for three new garments. so to celebrate the end of the week we took a trip to one of our favorite treasure troves of real ales and emptied our bank accounts. the place is packed to the rafters with booze. expect a new ale of the week soon, think we might need to rename that because it's more like "ale of the month but not every month but we do drink nice ones every week just forget to booth them but if we start getting them free then we might not forget so send us free ales".

paris reminisce

today we ate loads of camembert and baguette and reminisced about paris, hanging out with the whole team and enjoying the fine french wines.

penny crayon

umberto is pretty handy with the old crayons. here's a little creation he brought to life when he was stuck in the south of france with only a pen and his digital camera for company.

eat your meat

meat = madness tonight was proof. sam, james and zak consumed plates full of cheap carvery meat then lead me on a meat fueled night of madness. after one pint too many we took zak to see the norwich cathedral which turned into us breaking and entering into some private school getting blacked up by anti-climb paint and having to climb over a 10 foot high fence just to get to a late night drinking boudior. thankfully i'd been eating my greens so managed to keep up with the meat heads.

kingdom issue 7

issue 7 of kingdom magazine hits the shelves this week. looks like lee and neil are hungry for their photo incentives because it has their names on the cover. our good friend sean santamaria has a profile to and with farmer topping the bill i can't think of a better way to shed some pennies.

fish stick

i've been hobbling around the beach with james and zak today. we found a really nice looking street that had loads of cake and hat shops then ate some of norfolks finest fish & chips and then on the way back we went to check out a little cider house i had scoped out last time i was at the coast with loz and joe. turned out to be a gold mine, had the most amazing selection of ciders and you could get a massive bottle for a couple of quid.

introduction to norwich

took zak to some norwich skate spots today. introduced him to our state of the art filming equipment which he immediately took a shinning to and got in his poop stance filming position while sam ruined himself on a barrier at the end of a kink rail. sam's knee took a beating but luckily we had some 'balsam of tigre' at hand which he rubbed onto his sensitive bits. later we found some old guy selling stolen bikes so we gathered up all our chump change and managed to haggle the old boy down to a discount price, i'm now the proud owner of a new bike.

stolen souls and button holes

i've been whoring myself for the lens this week. done some photos for the autumn/winter collection at bespoke. dave was feeling mischievous and took advantage of my OCD all day by turning all the empty plug switches on just so he could watch me walk around and turn them all off again. the only time he stopped was to drink a pot of jelly and eat other kids party style snacks.

didn't do too well on the photos tonight think the free wine had something to do with it. private view went well except for one of my frames falling off the wall, didn't break though so all is good. we had two special guests tonight one in the form of ben who has returned to the fine city to further his brain knowledge as well as scottish hero zak buys who has moved to norwich to also expand his brain knowledge and eat as much nandos as possible. welcome chaps its good to have you in the finer city of norwich.

i'm back

im back in the fine city of norwich, its good to be back but i've been super busy already. spent today putting up work at 'the norwich arts centre' got an exhibition starting there on thursday. there is a private view on thursday night from 5-7 pm so if your in the area and fancy some free booze come on down. i was also welcomed back by a special parcel from canada, joey mcgarry sent me a copy of his new dvd 'mushroom blading' i can't wait to watch it. stay tuned for a full review and some tales of my greek adventure.

i've been enjoying some of norwich's finest in the sun today, then headed out to the beach and cooked up some meat treats until the early hours of the morn.

windproof candles in the wind

it's been a stressful week so i went to flush the old think tank out with james tonight. we sunk some of norwich's finest cherry brewskis, peed with iggy pop, found the best floor in town and acquired the brightest plastic candles. we keep getting papped by the army of outline photographers that prowl norwich's watering holes so i've decided to start shooting back, a candlelit alice is my first victim.

it's the 10th anniversary of the infamous slamm jamm next month at rampworx. we'll have a booth in the trade area; lee, anthony and sam will be there so go hassle them for some stiiickkeeerrsss.

got a message from anthony today, he's been soaking up some serious sun and knocking back gallons of iced coffee while his folks roam the streets promoting their favorite brands. apparently the cleaners are getting really annoyed with him because his chest hair keeps blocking the pool filter.

me and lee were supposed to be filming for an advert today but the whole country filled up with water. here's some pictures of my feet enjoying the week of summer we had this year.

let jimi take over

the new jimi colourway has got the all clear from our crash test dummies. it's a crew neck this time so all you people that had too much cleavage hair to rock the deep v have nothing to worry about this time. the first shipment is on it's way so expect to see them in stores and online in a couple of weeks.

i got my flip flops and sunglasses ready and im off to greece for 2 weeks to visit the parental units, im leaving sam in charge of the booth so expect some weird wonders.

fight club meetings with ghosts

it's been a busy one today, we started out by sorting the finishing touches on the new jimi that's hitting the shops in a few weeks. the rest of the day was meetings, we saw a really good fight featuring a guy called "mickey" on our way through the city to the bank for our first meeting. then we got coffee and on the way to bespoke for the second meeting of the day we saw another pretty good fight featuring a couple of cops and a really determined drunk guy, he was like norwich's braveheart. we discovered what sean and dave really get up to in the shop, their internet search history could probably earn them some porridge. the final meeting was in this massive castle chamber style room in city hall and was for the infamous new concrete skatepark we are trying our hardest to materialize. i took a picture of this creepy painting of an old man and then when i looked at the picture he's sitting there right in front of me, proper horror show.

swifty london visit

spent a few hours in london today went down to art fag around, there were two exhibitions i really wanted to see. the le gun exhibition at Rochelle School was amazing one of the best ive seen in a long time, its not every day you get to see a squint jesus, a smoking bunny and a room and all its contents made out of cardboard, really amazing. if you're in the area go and see it cause its only on till friday.
