colette have just started their new blogs party which will be held every 2 months at regine in paris. there was a pretty exclusive guest list for the launch party, here's a couple of faces you should recognise.

we just put an edit of sam on POO TV, it's footage from a skatepark session in winter 2007. there are a couple of the jackets that he's wearing on the dirt box shop. use discount code "currie" for 10% off and the same works for "mainland" and the jimi blue. enjoy.

lee mainland by adam kola

the guys over at kingdom have just updated their darkroom with this shot of lee from a trip to bristol he took last year while shooting for his profile in the magazine. the photo was shot by adam kola and you can see a bigger version of it on his website. take a look at the holga images he just uploaded, they are definitely worth the extra mouse clicks. also there are a few "jimi blues" left in the dirt box shop if you want to swag out of your noogs like lee. we've got a few more bits from the guys going online soon so keep an eye out for those...might even be worth a quick flick around the site now...go on.

paris part 2 mondo post

started off yesterday morning by meeting up with sean and dave to take care of business at the fashion shows. you get red carpet treatment at these bad boys which we aren't really used to, the last trade show we attended we were selling product out of a suitcase in liverpool...definitely no free vin and many a pleasant lady folk there. when the shows were over we headed back to meet umberto and get pizza. umbertos friend leila had missed her flight back to new york so she came back to hang out with us for another night, the tobacco shops were closed by the time she got back so i went on a cig scabbing trek with her which turned into a competition. we started on a massive roundabout and i went one way and she went the other, we met the other side and the person with the most cigs wins. i lost 5-4 which i think is pretty good considering i don't have tits. we then headed back to umbertos to complete our construction and get some whiskey flowing. later we met up with fred and headed to some clubs, after a lot of pavement partying matthieu decided to show us how the hobos get down in paris. he bought some savage 11.6% beers and we got grimey on some steps for a bit. after some banter with some scottish birds outside le maison de merde discotheque we all got split up and me and anthony ended up in another club with fred where we finally managed to get the kills and joy division played after some communication problems with the disc jockey. after that we headed back but got totally lost and ended up back at umbertos apartment at 6am. today we woke up 10 minutes before we were meant to go meet sean and dave at the airport which we later discovered was because anthony set his alarm for the wrong day, so we were lucky really because we could of woke up next monday. we made it to the airport though and got some refreshments from hippopotomus, which made me piss myself every time i saw the sign because i was introduced to flight of the concords just before we left for paris and all weekend it made me think of the hiphopopotomus....ummm steve.

we left norwich some time thursday night and got driven by sean and dave to some airport somewhere in derby, the drive went by smoothly with dj sets and our mate jack. our flight to paris was with added turbulence, crying baby and possibly the worst landing ever all inclusive. by the time we got to gay pari we were feeling slug and crashed round umbertos for a couple of hours, we then went for a little shopping trip and stroll around some romantic sites.

apparently yesterday was the most depressing day of the year, did you feel like shit?

we've got a few new things coming out really soon. one of which is the infamous stiickkkerrrrssss, die cut from top quality weatherproof vinyl (as if you'd expect anything less from your favorite brand) and we've even added a new colour for you. they will be available in packs on the dirt box shop so start thinking about what you're going to vandalise*.

bearded sams bday bash

lastnight i was out in the sticks celebrating bearded sams birthday, he actually shaved off his beard for the occasion which sucked. the night was filled with much banter and many cocktails shaken up by the cocktail master, who even produced some wicked chilli drink that went down a little too well and burned all the way through. we ended the night with shots of the purge buckets content leaving everybody slightly blue and tweaked. thats about all i can remeber.

serendipity

spent the afternoon hanging out with my little brother, he's really into youtube and said if i put mints and coke in my mouth my head would explode. i called bullshit and he got some special exploding mints and coke so we could try it out. then tonight me and james went to watch the new 3d horror show that's just come out in the cinema but we got there too late and they wouldn't let us in. so we got burgers and then went to some watering holes. we bumped into my friend emily who i haven't seen for a while and had a good ol' catch up which was a treat. we finished the night at a bar that is half swank and half playschool but we got to play guess who while drinking amazing chai lattés so it was good. met my future hairdresser to, he introduced himself drunk as fuck and we had a really good chat. definitely one of the most bad ass people i've met in norwich for a while. his shop is right down the street from bespoke to so you should all go buy some dirt box get up from sean boy and dave then head down to j's for a haircut then cross the street and get brewed up in the birdy..perfect day out in norwich. book in advance for j though because he's a busy guy by the sound of things 01603 618835.

DJ dippDipp

tonight we went out on the town, unfortunately our favorite watering hole had be taken over by aminals from another dimension so we moved on to a quiet village hall when sam aka DJ dippDipp played a wicked set. i acquired an absinthe spoon which i later tried to threaten some police with, they were too busy trying to bust some ice-cream truck and didnt even notice my deadly weapon. apparently the ice-cream truck was selling some wrong stuff to kids, as you can see from the photo the ice-cream eaters looked pretty tweaked.

anthony signed up to an underwater dentist, he's not looking forward to his first appointment which is in a couple weeks so i'll post his distress closer to the big day for your enjoyment. ate the first burger king i've had in 6 years. found a new jacket with zebra lining. created a new camembert combination using hovis crackers, i recommend it. i also highly recommend badgers poachers choice which is our ale of the week although i think it might of been ale of the week before? it's good enough to be champ for two weeks though so i guess it's ok. bye.

slow week

its been a bit slow so far this year, january is a tricky month but we are trying to keep ourselves occupied. today we tried to get our laptops to breed and hopefully produce a mini mac to store our invoices and accounts, wasn't successful though apparently sams mac book had a headache and wasn't in the mood. after that we did a bit of charity work and felt good about ourselves.

here is a little frozen spider web i found, it made me feel all arty and warm inside. on an arty note we tried to go see an exhibition tonight but couldnt get in cause there was some band playing. so instead we went to one of norwich's finer watering holes and watched some cat try to chat up some lady.

wayne's world night

alexia invited us over for indian and wayne's world tonight...it was excellent (had to be done). also note that anthony has started to reinvent himself for 2009. some key features of his new look include; hats, one glove, pulling the lace of his hood so it only comes out of one hole and the best is yet to come...

bike fever

there is a new virus about called 'bike fever'. there are two strains, sam caught the 'weave-a-bike' kind which sent him into a delirious fit of weaving a harley and pretending to drive it around shops like some kind of hells angel. it seems that i've been bitten by the other kind called 'fix-a-bike' where i attempt to turn a £20 racing bike into a gear and brake free trendy track bike. my sickness is still only half fixed, sam however has started weaving a 3 wheeler.

two double 0 nine

went to a red rope do in london town to celebrate the new days to come. saw some deers heads, antlers, pheasants and other decor that made me feel like i was still in the fine city. the horrors done a dj set which was interesting, some dude dressed up as a glitterball with a wedgy which inspired me to try and be outrageous; so i gave it a bit of the old "cock out on the dancefloor trick" which went down a storm, it upset a couple of geishas though. i think it was their night off and they obviously didn't want to see anything that reminded them of work...don't get on your high horses..i've seen that film..entertainers my arse. then went back to klems place where a pretty wild party took place, there was a lot of french banter going on so i was introduced to a chap called aaron from williamsburg who turned out to be a pretty interesting guy, he's in a band called chairlift so give them a listen if you haven't already. my good friend matthieu from paris was also there and it was great to catch up with him. the party went on until 8am and everyone was pretty faded by the end but it was a good way to start the new year. hope you all had a goodun...happy new year, bloody love ya x
