more cats posts

my sister came back from morocco today so i went with her to get her cat 'oscar' back from the summer camp he was staying at. he was looking pretty haggard when we got there looks like he had been doing loads of partying,some cool cat was even riding a steam roller around. apparently he befriended some floozy named molly, according to him she was lovely, think my sister needs to get him down the clinic.

lost a day

just found these photos from the other week. james's friend andy came down from liverpool and we went to this jankedy japanese cook it yourself joint in the city center. i felt sorry for the lady that owned the place because she was really nice and couldn't figure out why no one goes in her restaurant but then when she tried to charge me the best part of five bones for two raw king prawns my sympathy faded.

car boot heaven

the car boot is my church, i wake up early every sunday (and wednesday), put on my good clothes, comb my hair and head to my place of worship. the car boot has helped me through some difficult times, i have learnt a lot from it and it has guided me to happiness. maybe its time you visited your local car boot.

five dayers

dropped off some stuff in cambridge today and then popped in to see alan; him and daisy are fostering some five day old kittens. if the karma points weren't in such short supply i think i would of stole one, they are so cute they make your eyes hurt. after a coffee and catch up i headed back to the fine city and took my little brother to watch a movie and get some nandos..definitely worth at least 10 karma points which means i can push a kid over at the skatepark tomorrow without any comeuppance.

fountains of karma

the weather has been too good this week so we have been mincing around loads. went to homebase to look for a fountain for sam to help him gain some karma, we got sidetracked by the bbq's and hot tub of sams dreams though and left empty handed. later we went to see them put up the new sign at the local pub, momentous occasion.

so i got a speeding ticket, a haircut and some beers since i last posted on here. time to start stacking some karma points because i don't normally get caught doing bad stuff so i'm guessing i've run out.

day out in london

spent the day in london today had a meeting with Rubbish, it was rubbish really. the weather was really good people were lining up in the streets to catch the rays. i had a little walk around the trendy bits followed by a super salad from leon's, then met up with an old friend which is when it all went a bit hazy.

we just got this message from one of the local skaters, sounds like scary stuff. we wish you a speedy recovery neil.

"we went to the new woodbridge skatepark on good friday and during the day neil had a nasty fall and cut his knee, by monday it had swollen up and he was finding it hard to walk, we went to the hospital to have it checked out, at the hospital a scab was removed from his leg, this gave him an infection and on wednesday he was rushed back to hospital, the infection had spread to his liver and kidneys and he was very close to dieing! he is on the mend now but is still in hospital" - rio

we went for a bbq/mini ramp hesh today. it was real sunny when we left but by the time we got there we could see our breath which sucked a bit because i was optimistically equipped with only a t-shirt. luckily we had montre roots to put a bit of fire in the belly. i'm trying to stack clips for something we're working on at the moment but anthony was so into creating gourmet disposable bbq creations that i had to film myself which didn't really work out. we started packing up and i was walking back to the whip when i noticed a massive cloud of smoke coming out of a bin, turned out james had a momentary lapse of common sense and put the bbq in there then walked off none the wiser to the raging fire he had created. i tried to put it out with a bottle of evian and nearly got in a fight with a rival gang of bin fire enthusiasts in the process. the ironic thing is a police lady had come over to the ramp earlier in the day because she thought we were setting stuff on fire, then when she saw our delicately arranged mixed veg cooking away she just said "you're organised, enjoy your meal" and walked off.

introducing elliot stevens

we are proud to introduce elliot stevens to the dirt box family. we have something in the works at the moment that we were going to introduce him with but the tabloids seem to have beat us to it. enjoy this little p-rail jam brett has put together and you can look forward to seeing much more from elliot this year including his initiation ceremony.

start of filming season

well it's official filming season has started and so far all we have is one sketchy clip, one ripped pair of jeans, one ledge which smells of melon and a long list of tricks that need landing and filming, let the games begin.

easter is blowing up

spent some quality easter time with my little brothers this afternoon, they were trying to blow stuff up so i helped out and they seemed pretty excited about the result. then i headed back into the rainy city for a few drinks with sean, dave and justin. gummy bears were getting dunked in guiness, erin was up to her usual tricks in the toilet and dave was starting conversations that always led to vomit inducing anecdotes.

cherry cherry

we went to the launch of cherry cherry last night, it's gemma and kates new project and it's looking pretty sweet*. unfortunately the only photo i got is a blurry one of anthony on dreg patrol. kept the cherry theme up today with the purchase of some new tic tacs, the first few are a bit weird being a lover of the traditional tic tac flavour but once you get past that they are pretty good. not much else to report today, just had a meeting to sort out some new stuff.

zoot n' boot

woke up to more sunshine today so we went for a sweat session to flush our bodies of some good life toxins. neil and anthony got involved in a helicopter take off worthy of an oscar nomination. then to end the day we went to wagamama and ordered two meals each in an attempt to get health levels back to maximum capacity. neil definitely managed to get his gut to maximum capacity, i saw him drinking curry sauce at one point and when we left he could barely walk. unfortunately all good things come to an end and the guys had to hop on their train back to london.

this morning i discovered that reggae reggae sauce on your eggs is the best kick start to the day, sam went for the ketchup option so we had to leave him at home catnapping. i toured our guests around the finest charity boutiques of norwich and fed them loads of cake. we hit some local spots which neil shreded then did loads more 'straight clownin'. sam eventually woke up and joined us for dinner and late night banters.

dreg nation

neil and chilvers are in the fine city at the moment, we took them to a couple watering holes tonight and got on the dreg pipe. if you want to see some bigger better pictures of them, kingdom have just put a PDF online of the revs jam and they are both in there.

april slack day

we were planing on doing an april fools post today but went to the car boot instead where i found my new favourite shoes and gemma touched a white horse. after that we continued with the slacking theme, bought some drinks and went and skated in the sun.
