a night with ben woods

i spent a night with writer ben woods, i wanted to see how he lives his life and get a feel for some of the things that inspire him to effortlessly stitch words together with such elegance. he took me into the city and we went to look at some clearance shop furnishings which he's really interested in. after a few hours i felt like i hadn't really been getting to the core of ben and i thought if i could get him to relax a bit i might get a deeper insight into some of his extraordinary lifestyle choices. after he had a back and head massage combo he really loosened up and then over a few pots of tea he told me about his disregard for hierarchy and hatred of young boys with floppy blond side partings and croissant crumbed corduroy. i left thinking that ben was obviously a sharply dressed dishonorable man that was mostly harmless.

happy birth and congratulations

loads of good news today. firstly happy birthday alexia, we went for some pseudo greek lunch with her and it was a real treat to catch up. secondly congratulations to gemma for getting back on the meat wagon, i'm proud of you. then last but not least congratulations sean and dave for the purchase of their new shop, they are treating norwich like a monopoly board and now own a quarter of lower goat lane.
